Course Description: This class will embrace, engage and enrich the innate talent of young children. DCTTS provides a welcome and comforting environment for all young artists to explore their individual talent and unique charisma. This semester our students will explore how to handle theatrical props. Their “show and tell” will enlighten their audience to their varied class activities…where everyone played an important part in sharing their experiences and knowledge of theatre.

Training Your VOICE … and SINGING on Stage

Time: 10:45 am - 12 noon
Teacher: Mrs. Beckie Mason
Course Description: Any young artist who hopes for a long career of rewarding experiences on stage must not only discover their talents but consistently work on the development and TRAINING of those talents. The actor has two instruments which must be used effectively to enhance the communication of their talents to an audience. The body and the VOICE are those instruments. This class will assist the young artist in developing and TRAINING HIS/HER VOICE to meet the demands of a successful career within the Art of Theatre.

“ACTion” – Film & TV Acting w/ Industry Tips

Time: 12:15 pm to 2:15 pm

Course Description: If you have EVER been interested in the process and procedures required for beginning a career in the Film & TV Industry…this class has been designed for you!! You will begin a novice and end the class as an informed actor/actress with a strong skill set to obtain a professional agent.
